The final full week leading up to Christmas was quite eventful for our team, as we all participated in First Aid training at Ripon HQ. Just as we thought we could ease into the Christmas period, we found ourselves on a tight schedule to set up a temporary caustic dosing system on one of our sites. We had already been operating a temporary ferric system, which helped streamline the process.
Here’s a quick recap of our week:
Tuesday: We received the enquiry and swiftly submitted a quotation.
Wednesday: We held a pre-let meeting and successfully placed the order.
Thursday: The team prepared and tested the system while also conducting a pre-start meeting and submitting our Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS).
Friday: We delivered the system to the site, installed it, and commissioned it on water.
Looking ahead to next week…
Christmas Eve: We’ve scheduled a chemical delivery and will get the system up and running.
Even with the hustle and bustle of the season, we still have a couple of temporary dosing units available to hire early in the new year—first come, first served!
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas from all of us at LEADA!
