This week our integrated management system was put through its paces during our annual review and audit. The fully integrated management and control procedures were developed in 2018 and have been accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 since that date.
What is ISO accreditation?
ISO accreditation is a certification process demonstrating an organisation’s compliance with international standards set by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). These standards ensure that organisations meet specific requirements for quality management, efficiency, and safety. Accreditation helps businesses improve processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and gain a competitive edge by showcasing their commitment to quality and continuous improvement. It often involves thorough audits and assessments to verify that the organisation adheres to the relevant standards.
Why do you need to get ISO accreditation?
Achieving ISO accreditation demonstrates a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. It can also provide a competitive edge, as many clients seek this certification when selecting suppliers. The process has helped us identify inefficiencies and implement best practices. Additionally, it boosts team morale by establishing structures and processes that streamline our workload.
The annual review and audit concluded that we were 100% compliant, there were zero non-conformities, and we are well placed to continue business as usual till the re-certification audit next year. Credit to the whole team for managing these systems and also following these systems to provide customers with quality, safe, and environmentally sensitive designs and installations.
